We’re getting reports that their may be a National Blackberry outage.
Verizon Wireless reports that there is a data outage affecting most of the Northeast, and has been for a few hours now.

I’m in Tallahassee, Florida and the data on my Pearl was out for about 2 hours and it came back up around 4:45 PM
Working in Pittsburgh PA. But family in WV are experiencing problems. VZW has not ETA.
This must be restricted to certain areas. On BB, on VZW in Cincinnati, OH without issue.
South Carolina here no data here for the last few hours
No probs in brooklyn ny
No issues is Westchester County NY.
Data outage in Washington DC for several hours now. Started with VZ Navigator and spread to the rest of the data functions.
Could this be related to the BIS 2.6 upgrade that was announced on this site a few days ago, or maybe the aftermath of such?
No problems in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
No reports of problems from my user’s here in NYC or in DC so far. Devices seem to be routing to and from the BES here normally.
This seems like a repeat of Friday evening’s issue.

I am in MA with Verizon service and I have not had any issues today.
I am in Schoharie County, NY and have had no data on my BB since 3:30/4:00 p.m.
I’m in Cambridge, MA with AT&T & haven’t received messages since @ 6:30 pm.

no email or web service since about 12:45 pm Saturday March 21. Thought it was me, but my settings are correct and haven’t changed. Weird it would be this long.
Northern VA here, seeing alot of pending messages on the bes for all users, Verizon, Tmobile and ATT.
In Orlando, FL happened last night and doing it again now.
The outage is over. However, in order to restore service to my BB, I had to first turn off, then turn on Data Services (under Manage Connections: Mobile Network Options), remove my battery for a few minutes, and then replace it. After 5 minutes, all is working OK now…
My gmail account is down on my 8130 Pearl in Greensboro, North Carolina since last night.
