While all appears to be back in service at this point, there apparently was a short term BES and BIS data outage in the Europe/MiddleEast/Africa region for RIM.
This was confirmed by 2 UK carriers this morning. From our notices to the bb-outage-intl list, it looks like things went offline just before 08.00 GMT and were down for about 25-35 minutes maximum by our estimations.

I can confirm our BES server in London lost SRP connectivity from 0800 to 0845 this morning.
All looks to be ok now
