VZW is currently experiencing issues registering on RIM network with data connectivity and activations, Verizon stated that they were having some “server issues.” Have contacted our Vz rep to try and get a better ETA.
Edit: This appears to be a Northeast problem as we’re getting reports from people up and down the Northeast that they are experiencing the same issues.
Edit: This appears to be more widespread then we had thought, it appears that it’s nationwide. Keep the comments coming in so we can update this as needed.

The Northeast (CT, MA,RI) is offline as well. Our Verizon rep told me that it is currently in Tier2 RIM Support. No idea on the ETA though..
Was just informed by Verizon tech in Balt/DC area that there is no ETA, just that they’re “working on it”.
This is also affecting Verizon Aircards…not just BlackBerry data.
Slow on/off data in Hopkinsville ky on verizon
No data access in suburbs west of Philadelphia. LG Dare phone so it’s not just RIM. VZW rep told me it was a “nationwide” outage for what it’s worth.
in DC on BIS been stuck at 1Xev for about 2 hours now no email, or data
Just came back for me.
We are also seeing issues in NYC as well. Users are unable to send PIN to PIN messages.

Several of our customers in the Westchester NY area are seeing sporadic data service outages

Experiencing Blackberry and aircard issues in Boston, MA
I’m in DC proper using broadband connect with LG Dare and I’m back up and running at 2:00 pm EST.
Working now (14:09 EDT) but did affect us here in Midtown Manhattan.

i’m in lower manhattan and our IT dept is sending out outage advisories. but my vzw BB and aircard are moving along w/o any problems.
My BlackBerry Curve on Verizon Wireless has been going extremely slow today. I cant do anything data-related without getting: “This application requires a working data connection”
There different model BlackBerry on VZW in Manassas VA just outside of DC and no loss of data service here.
CONFIRMED: Called AT&T yesterday when my bold was epic failing, nice lady told me that there was indeed a data service outage in the NOVA/SW DC region.
Still don’t have data this morning.
We are experiencing internet browser problems in St. Louis, MO but email and BES data seem to be working fine. Multiple users here having issues but my phone works fine and they are all on same business account. Verizon says it is a “known issue and we are working on it”.
