Blackberry & Carrier Service Outage Information Center.
California region VZW Outage
There seems to be a problem in Los Angeles, CA and Verizon technical support has said that they are experiencing an outage in the Southern California region also.
They hope to have the problem resolved within 24-48 hours. The outageeffects more than just Blackberry model cell phones.

VZW is currently experiencing issues registering on RIM network with data connectivity and activations, Verizon stated that they were having some “server issues.” Have contacted our Vz rep to try and get a better ETA.

We’re getting reports that their may be a National Blackberry outage.
Verizon Wireless reports that there is a data outage affecting most of the Northeast, and has been for a few hours now.
