We’re getting reports from all over the country that RIM’s BIS service is down right now. At this time we have no ETA on when this will be back up again.

Updated RIM Statement: RIM has isolated and resolved the issue that was impacting some BlackBerry customers earlier this morning. Some customers may still experience delays as email queues are processed. RIM is continuing to investigate the cause of the issue and apologizes for any inconvenience.

5:45 PM EST Atlanta. No AT&T BB EM since ~ 1:30 this morning. Still down!
At 2210 EST AT&T says they’ve just now solved the interface problem with RIM and are acoming back up. .. expect it to take a few hours to get all systems running.
Interesting (disappointing) AT&T is hours behind the competition and does such a pitiful job communicating with its customers.

Tmobile started sending bb email at about 12:30am mst today on the west coast
Columbia, SC with VzW - No incoming email since midnight 12/16/09.
