Day 2of this outage. No update, no RIM statements… just the same continuance from yesterday’s data issues.
Again, this is affecting devices on all North American carriers, BIS and BES, and it appears to be only devices on WiFi, wherein data works “sometimes” when connected via WiFi; no data when WiFi is disconnected.
If we get a RIM statement or further status report, we’ll post here.

Here in Venezuela i experienced the same problem… even with wi-fi on!
Even in Serbia, on an unlocked 9550 from Verizon…
Here in Mexico I experienced the same problem from yesterday till today, I can only use the browser, blackberry messenger, msn messenger when I have WiFi turned on.
Had problems here in Switzerland with BIS not (or only partially) working.
Had experienced no data while not connected to wi-fi on 3/8 & 3/9. Contacted Verizon Wireliess on 3/9, got a trouble ticket issued and data issue was resolved by 2 PM.
Both my wife and I are having data issue with BBM and Google Sync. We have non-wifi devices, so this has gone beyond wifi devices.
Hear in New York, same problem for 2 days.
My service provider T Mobile doesn’t anything.
No data at all. And I don’t have a WiFi device. I have a gen 1 storm. I have reset the device multiple times. I have reset the wireless connection as well. Still nothing.

I was told by AT&T that the issue was resolved and spent over an hour trying to reset my BlackBerry to find out what the issue is. I got data again for about 10 minutes and then it was gone. It’s been off and on all day and it sounds like BIS is still having problems. Which is ridiculous being that there’s still been NO word from RIM.
Both my friend and I have been having issues since Friday night, I’m on a Blackberry Storm 2. And she a BB Curve 8530. We can’t call anyone get no ring no nothing…it worked for a lil bit yesterday. But back off this morning and we can’t text it doesn’t go through…why can’t RIM or Verizon just tell us what’s going on…oh were in Kansas USA..Sighhh
