According to widespread geographic reports, there is currently a RIM data outage effecting several carriers across the United States.

From the Los Angeles area to Atlanta/Birmingham and NYC, there are reports of no email on AT&T, and similar reports on Verizon from New Jersey, T-Mobile in the Northwest as well.

BES IS working just fine but BIS is not working, sending service books works for some people while others are having problems.

Confirmed with Verizon teir 2 tech support, Reported outage BIS

No ETA

send/receive messages or may have difficulty connecting to the network.

Estimated time of repair is unknown and technicians are working towards a
resolution as quickly as possible.
OEM Watch Command will advise as necessary.

North American partial outage – July 28th

07/28/2008 – RIM is reporting as of 11:15am Eastern Time, a data outage with 50% of users impacted, in North America only.

The outage appears to affect only integrated accounts. Web browsing and such seems to be in the clear.
