Just got confirmation with TMobile that they are experiencing problems with a tower in the Washington DC area zip code 20005.
Phone service is working, but unfortunately Blackberry Emails are being affected.
Users will only be getting a GSM signal instead of GPRS or EDGE.
As of right now TMobile engineers are working on the issue but there is no ETA on when it will be resolved.

This just in.
There is a global data interruption affecting data transfers. This is affecting all markets; however it is sporadic…and affecting various parts of the country in various areas.
I do not have an ETA as of yet, but will update you as soon as I receive any further information.
If you have a WiFi enabled Device, & an available WiFi Network you can connect and will have Data Services. If you have a “Secure Network” users will need the “Key” to connect.
I hope the below will help.
I apologize on behalf of T-Mobile for any inconvenience that this may cause.
edit: 6:01PM EST, Rep contacted to confirm this is now resolved.
